What is the Huddle?

“At Calvary Chapel we look to Acts 2:42 as the model for the church. The Huddle is a great opportunity to be reminded of the essential, foundational elements of our faith. We will be equipped, strengthened, and refreshed by sharing our learnings in ministry with one another and enjoying life-giving fellowship. It’s definitely a time when iron sharpens iron!”

— Pastor Glen Nudd, Senior Pastor, Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel & Regional Director for Calvary Chapel Association (Prairie Provinces, BC, & Alaska)

Who should attend?

The Rocky Mountain Ministry Huddle is for pastors and their wives, ministry leaders, and all those who are interested in growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and serving Him with excellence and effectiveness.

What is included?

A time of equipping, encouragement, and rich fellowship for pastors, pastors’ wives, ministry leaders, and all those interested in being built up in faith and service. The registration fee includes all meals: two nutritious breakfasts, lunch on Monday and Tuesday, gourmet dinners on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and a pack-and-go lunch on Wednesday. (Accommodation is not included.)

What is the theme?

The theme for the 2025 Ministry Huddle – Hold Fast: He is Faithful – is referenced many times in the Bible including in Hebrews 10:23. It’s a call to stay focused on Jesus and all that He has done for us; to remember the faithfulness and the promises of God. We will be delving deeper into the Word, reminding ourselves of the foundations of our faith, and examining some of the most challenging issues of our times. The goal is to be better equipped to serve the Lord, renewed in our commitment to hold fast to the Lord, and reminded that we are part of a bigger family of Calvary Chapel churches that are co-laboring in the Great Commission.

Special Guests

Breakout Sessions & Roundtable Discussion

Among the highlights of this year’s Huddle are a series of ‘boots on the ground’ breakout sessions designed to provide practical tools for ministry in areas such as defending the faith, building ministry teams, and studying the Bible for the purposes of personal growth and teaching. A candid, roundtable discussion led by Pastor Glen Nudd will help us to better understand the importance and significance of the Calvary Chapel distinctives including the pastor-led model, the role of women in ministry and the church, the gifts of the Spirit, and the place of Israel in the plan of God.
