The Apostle Paul didn't mince words when he said: "If you marry you have not sinned ... but you will have trouble in the flesh." (1 Cor 7:28) There's no way around it. Trouble is woven into the fabric of marriage, but we know that God doesn't set us up for failure. This session is for those who are considering marriage, currently in a troubled marriage, seeking to communicate more effectively in their marriage, and/or desiring to help other believers have unified, God-honouring marriages.

Many great followers of God have been called to serve others in an assisting role; not being the main person but the one behind the scenes organizing, coordinating, supporting, and encouraging. Think of Daniel or Phoebe or Joseph or Mary, faithful people used mightily by God, serving behind someone. During this breakout session we’ll dive into what the Bible says about what makes for a faithful assistant in any ministry calling.
Dan has served as the Assistant Pastor to Pastor Glen Nudd at RMCC for 7 ½ years, he has eight years of experience with church planting and a background running a small business as well as experience managing departments for larger businesses.
From the perspective of a Senior Pastor’s wife, Jen Nudd will look at how God’s work is often incremental and naturally occurring, and that we often lean into the grace and faithfulness of God at work in our lives, even when we don’t realize it. As we are reminded that He doesn’t call the qualified but rather qualifies the called, this session will explore how the Lord shapes us into the people He wants us to be, enabling us to fulfill His purposes. “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” (Gen. 28:16)
Jen has been married to Pastor Glen for 32 years. She joined RMCC in June 1992 after relocating from New Brunswick. She’s a mother of two married children and loves her role as Nana.
